Mission

The Free Women’s Center of Pulaski County (FWC) empowers as many individuals as possible to make healthy life choices consistent with the intrinsic value of human life and serves as a leader in the community at large for positive sexual values.  We desire to join women on their pregnancy journey to help eliminate the crisis and not the pregnancy through providing free and confidential services before, during, and after delivery.  Through our Alternative to Abortion (A2A) program, we provide services that include but are not limited to the following: pregnancy testing and counseling; limited diagnostic ultrasounds; pre-natal/parenting education courses, financial & material aid, case management, job training & placement, health & wellness referrals, adoption assistance, post abortion support, and linkage to other community resources.

 Principles of Service

  1. Services promote life affirming choices for pregnancy and sexuality.
  2. Services are presented in a loving, caring, nonjudgmental manner.
  3. Services are presented to people of all races, cultures, creeds, and economic status.
  4. Services are confidential.
